Recently, the maintenance business of an imported compressor unit contracted by the Sanji Branch of Sinopec Oilfield Equipment Corporation(SOFE) has seen stage results, and the first repaired compressor unit has been loaded for 72 hours, showing the good operation condition, with the technical parameters stay normal, passed the customer acceptance.
The company adheres to the responsibility and mission of "intelligent manufacture of major equipment and serving energy security", focusing on customer demands, following the development path of "core technology + key manufacturing + professional services", and fully promoting the high-quality development of the natural gas compressor industry.
To ensure on-site operation, Sanji Branch of SOFE provides compressor operation and maintenance services nearby, undertaking compressor arrival and acceptance, installation and commissioning, handover procedures, inspections, fault handling, and maintenance. They adhere to the principle of "first repair to ensure operation, then clarify responsibility afterward", quickly addressing faults, responding to customer needs, and continuously gaining market favor. The maintenance business has also expanded from serving self-produced compressor units to those produced by other manufacturers.
Customers hope that manufacturers can efficiently and cost-effectively help them solve all issues related to compressors. For Sanji Branch of SOFE, it is obviously more difficult to undertake the repair of non-self-produced compressors for reasons of structural differences and parts matching.
The contracted Changmeng Zhongran compressor major overhaul project involves 4 large imported reciprocating natural gas compressor units and imported engines, with a cumulative operating time of nearly 10 years. The customer requested a major overhaul to repair faulty equipment.
Customers contacted foreign suppliers for operation and maintenance, which was impractical in terms of time and uneconomical in terms of cost. Domestic leading manufacturers are preferred.
Sanji Branch of SOFE won the bid for this project by virtue of its advantages in natural gas compressor research and development, manufacturing, and brand services.
Since mid-February of this year, the maintenance team of Sanji Branch of SOFE has carefully complied with on-site management requirements, meticulously preparing overhaul plans and construction operation schedules. They have overcome various difficulties such as unpredictable weather, strong winds, and tight deadlines, emphasizing technical support and strengthening quality control. They have organized personnel to disassemble, inspect, and install major components, replace wear parts, and systematically restore mechanical coordination. The maintenance of the remaining 3 compressor units will proceed intensively in the near future.
"As long as customers present demands related to natural gas compressor equipment technology, it is our standard of work and direction of effort," said a relevant person in charge of Sanji Branch of SOFE.
