In late February, Shashi Steel Pipe Works, Sinopec Oilfield Equipment Corporation accelerated coating of a batch of high frequency welded pipes with a large diameter of 508 mm and a thin wallness of 6.35 mm, which would be exported to South America for the pipeline project used for water transmission after seawater desalination treatment. Through this project, SSPW changed the situation of having no supply achievement of high frequency welded steel pipe in South America market, and at the same time made a production record of high frequency welded pipe of the same size.

In order to ensure on time delivery, SSPW planned ahead, strived to carry out technological researches and optimize process parameters by using simulation models to ensure the stability during forming process. SSPW promoted whole process quality control to achieve every production process was strictly controlled. Through supervision and inspection over the upper and lower process, SSPW implemented product quality control, random inspection on on-site process quality and made timely identification and correction of problems to ensure stability and efficiency in every process. In addition, through timely tracking of incoming raw materials of steel coils and loading and shipping of finished pipes, SSPW made efforts in complete accomplishment of production and delivery.

To promote the international business strategy of "The Belt and Road", SSPW implements agency and self-operation of export business, works faster to tap into key target markets of the countries along the Belt and Road and makes greater progress in the certification of advanced pipe products, meeting the personalized needs of customers and strengthening the three-dimensional promotion of products and services. By improving product quality, production process, after-sales service, etc., SSPW advances the export of high quality steel pipes to the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and other markets, involving the entire product series of LSAW steel pipes, SSAW steel pipes, high frequency welded pipes, and pipe bends, which are widely used for oil and gas transmission, water transmission as well as construction and petrochemical fields, etc. In particular, SSPW has hold certification from Saudi Aramco for multiple steel pipe products, breaking into the international oil and gas steel pipe high-end market.
