On May 29-31, the 1st Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Science and Technology Conference was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, with the theme of "Innovation Driven, Intelligent Manufacturing, Information Integration and Green Development". SOFE gave a keynote speech entitled "Innovative Practice of Efficient Development of Key Equipment and Tools for Oil and Gas" at the opening ceremony, focusing on the its exploration and development around deep, ultra-deep and shale oil and gas, giving full play to the advantages of integrating equipment tool research and development manufacturing services, vigorously promoting core technologies, strengthen innovation drive, and striving to provide strong support for efficient exploration and development of oil and gas in China.

SOFE hosted the Technical Exchange of the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association's Unconventional Oil and Gas Engineering Equipment Commission, and 7 experts shared cutting-edge technologies such as fracturing equipment technology, high-efficiency rock breaking technology, continuous pipeline completion key technology, rotary-oriented drilling system, discussed the current situation and development trend of the non-conventional oil and gas equipment industry, expounded the problems and opportunities facing the development of the industry, and put forward the industry development plan. It plays an important leading role in further developing the service capability and role of the Unconventional Oil and Gas Equipment Commission, boosting the vitality of the industry, and promoting the sustainable, healthy and high-quality development of the industry.
