The first 2500hp super power cementing truck independently designed and developed by SOFE was rolled off the line on November 27. It has the world's largest power and maximum mixing capacity simultaneously and can meet the customer's operational requirement of a single unit in deep shale gas and ultra-deep oil & gas well application.
As shale gas E&P goes 5000m-deep and deeper, there is an increasing demand on the large capacity of cementing unit. Focusing on customer's need, SOFE developed cementing pump with large power, slurry mixing system with large displacement, and light truck assembly technology, and ultimately made this 2500hp super power cementing truck.
Compared with conventional cementing equipment, this unit has light weight and optimized arrangement to tackle the problems of similar equipment with weight and axle load going against the national highway driving regulations. It has excellent maneuverability and mobility, which can move freely from highway to the cementing jobsite. The maximum working pressure of its new developed quintuple cementing pump increases 24% in comparison with equivalent products both at home and abroad under the same plunger option. Its stroke drops 21% per minute under the same displacement when in high pressure working condition. The service life and operational stability of cementing pump improved tremendously.
The world first self-developed slurrymixing system with large displacement has raised its mixing performance by 76% and becomes much easier for operation and maintenance.
