During September 9-11, SOFE participated in 2020 China Smart Petroleum and Petrochemical Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Exhibition, and gave a keynote speech on"Building an Intelligent Platform to Explore a Powerful Weapon in the Field of Oil & Gas Development". SOFE was awarded the title of  Innovative Enterprise in the forum.

As a national enterprise for the oil & gas equipment industry, SOFE is exploring the application of big data and artificial intelligence in oil & gas equipment field, building an intelligent equipment system and promoting a digital transformation. In the future, SOFE will persist in catering for customers, solving problems in oilfield, and finding methods for advanced technologies both at home and abroad. SOFE will actively research and develop environment-friendly and intelligent equipment, serve national oil and gas exploration and development, and make contribution to the realization of comprehensive, sustainable and high-quality development.

This forum was held by China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Research Institute, China Petroleum and Chemical Information Institute, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China Petrochemical Press Co., LTD., Ningbo Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, Ningbo Green Petrochemical Industry Cluster Development Promotion Center, specifically divided into three seminars. They are the Petroleum and Petrochemical Digital Transformation Industry Summit, the Smart Oil and Gas Field Summit, and the Smart Refining and Chemical Summit.
